Fluctuating on the borders of performance and visual art, Dreamland Project is grounded in interactivity and conversation. Actors wearing sculpture-like costumes interact with audience members in character, as the fairytale creatures they embody. Carefully curated props ground the whimsical world of Dreamland in reality, while detailed complex structures of the multi-media costumes draw the visitor in, deeper and deeper into the fairytale. A Fairy Comes to Life, the new installment of the Dreamland Project was adapted to be more family and child friendly for the first TurnPark Fairy Houses Festival, and was a major hit with the audience of the event!
